The Elite Language Institute is open to non-native English speakers of the beginning to advanced levelswho have a serious desire to improve their English language skills for the pursuit of academic career, or cultural goals. There is a total 6 courses that allows students to finish in 24 months. Classes meet 4 and a half hours daily, four days per week.

The curriculum at ELI emphasizes essential grammar, listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and also computational skills required by businesses and industry. Fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written English are emphasized. Class sizes average ten students. The small class size allows each participant a maximum amount of individual attention and an opportunity to develop conversational skills.

Typically F-1 visa students remain enrolled at ELI for 12 to 24 months. Some students stay longer, pursuing advanced language mastery through work-study or other educational opportunities at ELI. Those students with further academic aspirations complete the TOEFL program and then can pursue two-year college or university degrees. International students seeking to work in practical and technical professions have the option of choosing a vocational school and maintaining their status with the M visa.

Regardless of educational and career path they seek to pursue, our students not only learn in the classroom setting but are also exposed to various facets of American culture through social events and family gatherings. These are a core aspect of our school tradition. Learning and having a fun is our simple goal!

ELI is located in Farmers Branch, adjacent to Dallas, Texas, the ninth-largest city in the United States. The current population in Dallas Metro is 3,693,501. Dallas is located in the Central Time Zone in North Central Texas, 245 miles northwest of Houston with an area of 384 square miles and an elevation of 450 – 750 feet (137.2 – 228.6 m). Dallas’s winters are mild (35 – 58 F average temperature), and summers can be hot, but not humid (average 85 – 98 F). Among major U.S. cities, Dallas’s living cost is relatively low, and has the most affordable housing of the twelve largest cities.
